Hey, there! I’m Marci.
CORGI MOM, COZY-GAMER, & SKINCARE SPECIALIST
I started my career in the beauty industry fresh out of high school, while still living in South Alabama. After several moves, I ended up in Portland and decided to go back to school to get my esthetics license.
I got my license in February of 2020 (yeaaaahhhh) and aside from the shutdowns, I quickly realized there were no spas hiring that aligned with my values of being inclusive. So I opened my own space in Vancouver before moving the studio to Portland in late 2021. I am forever thankful to the folks who have helped Arcane become what it is today.
As a queer person, I strive to create a space where people of all genders, races, sizes, and backgrounds can feel welcome and safe. It is no secret that the beauty industry can be very exclusive, but that’s never the vibe at Arcane. You can sit with us, there’s always room at the table.
