Studio Policies at Arcane Esthetics

CANCELLATIONS

  • To avoid a cancellation fee, please reschedule or cancel your appointment 48 hours before your appointment time. A reminder email is sent out 72 hours before your appointment to give you plenty of time to reschedule.

  • Cancellations made 48-24 hours before the appointment time incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled appointment price.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time incur a fee of 100% of the scheduled appointment price.

  • Frequent reschedules and cancellations may result in removal from the studio books.

  • All no-shows are charged 100% of the cancellation fee and will not be allowed to rebook.

LATE ARRIVALS

  • We recommend arriving a bit early for your appointment to give you time to find parking and make it up to our studio. Your appointment time begins at your scheduled time; we cannot go over your scheduled time and compromise the rest of our appointments that day to accommodate late arrivals.

  • Our new studio is located right after a freight train track. There are ways to avoid the train, and we recommend taking the additional few minutes to avoid the train. If you’re concerned about this or are unfamiliar with the OMSI area, send us a text prior to your appointment and we will send you the alternate routes!

PAYMENT

  • Payment is due at the time of the appointment, unless you are a member of our facial membership.

  • Cash is preferred, but cards are accepted as needed. We cannot accept Venmo or Cash App.

  • Should you need to use Afterpay for your appointment or skincare order, please let us know ahead of time so we can generate an invoice for you.

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Please come with a clean face and no makeup on. The less time spent removing makeup, the more time your skin gets treatment!

  • If you are receiving any lash services, please refrain from consuming caffeine on the day of your appointment. Fluttery eyes can compromise these services.

  • It is best to come to your appointment ready to relax. Many of our clients fall asleep during services, and we take this as a huge compliment! This is your time to rest. Because of this, we ask that you silence your phone before entering our studio.

  • All facial and waxing services require you to stop using retinols and exfoliants at least 5 days prior to your appointment. Failure to do so can lead to overexfoliation or lifting of the brow skin during waxing.
